If you want accommodation for groups of 2 to 6, the cottages (Promise 1 and Promise 2) are perfect. Secluded on a private working vineyard in Lovedale, each self-contained cottage is designed as a iconic Hunter Valley retreat, whether that’s for a romantic couples escape or a family gathering.
Midnight’s Promise Estate is a private vineyard in Lovedale, in the heart of the Hunter Valley.
Two self-contained cottages, Promise 1 and Promise 2, offer boutique accommodation surrounded by gardens and vines, with access to the Estate’s seasonal magnesium pool and hillside wood-fired pizza oven. Both cottages are fully self-contained, air-conditioned, and set up for guests to relax in private. The cottages are 50 metres apart with a connecting pathway. Trees, palms and hedges screen each cottage from the other.
The difference between them comes down to size and layout. Promise 1 suits couples and pairs travelling together. Promise 2 suits families and small groups who want more room to spread out. Full room-by-room floor plans for each cottage are below.
The cottages are well appointed throughout and feature large bedrooms and bathrooms, spacious living and dining areas (all fully air conditioned) with log fire, flat screen TV, DVD/CD player and wine-themed stylish décor. There is a full gourmet kitchen and private barbecue area.
The wide decks are ideal for alfresco dining. Relax beside the seasonal magnesium salt water swimming pool or stroll through the gardens.

Promise 2 is the larger cottage, built for families and groups of up to six. The main bedroom has its own ensuite with a clawfoot bath, while the other two bedrooms share a central bathroom with large dual shower roses. The kitchen opens to a deck that captures the morning sun and views across the citrus and olive grove. The spacious living and dining area opens onto the private verandah commanding spectacular views across the lake and valley floor.
